Incredible charts show why Dems snubbed tort reform

In the health care debate, nothing has been more infuriating than to hear Democrat after Democrat (including the president) claim that the Republicans offered nothing but the status quo, when tort reform was among one of the top reforms Republicans consistently argued for. Democrats downplayed the effect that expensive medical malpractice insurance for doctors has had on the cost of health care and health care insurance. The media had to stick its collective head in the sand to miss how important this issue has been to rising costs of health care over the past three decades. --bc
