The Center for German and European Studies at BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY is touting its Interdisciplinary Conference: New Right-Wing Radicalism, A Transatlantic Perspective, which will be held on April 28, 2010. The format is a two-part panel discussion with 'experts' on European (Part I) and U.S. (Part II) perspectives. Here are some topics from the U.S. Perspective: First, "Which Comes First: Thinking Like a Racist or Acting Like a Racist?" Then, "Cycles of Right-Wing Terror," and finally, "From Tea Parties to Armed Militias." You might find the Background Information interesting.
The left is in overdrive trying to paint Tea Party participants as violent racists. --bc
