Karen Handel wins Georgia special election

The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), congratulated Karen Handel, announcing, "Federation member Karen Handel has won Georgia's 6th congressional district special election and will be the state's first GOP woman in Congress."

NFRW Deploys Strike Force to Campaign in Special Election
Republican women from all across the country deployed to Georgia to rally voters for Handel. The now famous campaign bus, known as Rosie, took to the state with #GeorgiaOnMyMind augmenting her paint job. During the campaign, NFRW President Carrie Almond stated, “This is a very important race. We need all hands on deck to keep this congressional seat, which was formerly held by Speaker Newt Gingrich and HHS Secretary Tom Price.”
