Harry Reid Justifies Lying About Romney’s Taxes from Senate Floor: ‘He Didn’t Win, Did He?’

Harry Reid said he has no regrets for polarizing the Senate, attacking the Koch brothers, and falsely accusing Mitt Romney of not paying taxes.  Republicans have criticized Reid, who recently announced that he would not seek re-election in 2016, for hostile tactics that soured the environment on Capitol Hill.  The Senate minority leader dismissed claims that he is the problem with Washington and said he his proud of taking on the Koch brothers when no one else would.

Obama’s efforts to woo independents derailed by debt-ceiling agreement

THE HILL, 8/24/2011 by Ian Swanson - The unpopular debt-ceiling deal has significantly hampered President Obama’s effort to win over independent voters. ✧ Since Democrats were thumped in the 2010 midterm elections, Obama repeatedly has sought to burnish his reputation with independents, often at the sake of his Democratic base. ✧ Yet a Gallup poll this week found Obama trailing not only the two leading GOP candidates — former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Texas Gov. Rick Perry — among independent voters, but long-shot candidate Rep. Ron Paul (Texas) as well. The poll found that Obama leads Rep. Romney Speaks Out on his Faith

From BCRW Dec. posts
(Watch Romney's speech here)
Glenn Beck Program, December 6, 2007 - Glenn Beck says,

"The day the mainstream media was waiting for finally came as Mitt Romney gave his much anticipated speech on Faith in America. It was a tremendous speech, and one that he felt he had to give because he is constantly asked about his faith while on the campaign trail. They are not innocent questions either, they are ones with an agenda, such as 'Do you believe in Jesus Christ?'. Who else gets that question? No one. What that question really means is 'Mormons aren't Christians, right?'. Here was his answer to that question: "I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the savior of mankind'. Romney also addressed Mormons 'different' doctrines that the media seems so afraid of. 'Each religion has its own unique doctrines and history . . . Religious tolerance would be a shallow principle indeed if it were reserved only for faiths with which we agree.

Seems as though the mainstream media is all for tolerance -- except when it's a conservative in question, then we need to point out how evil their differences are." Read More......
