...Tonight the American people are being given three visions for how to move this country forward. You've just heard the President's vision and the traditional response from the opposition Republican Party. Now, in this remarkable nation "of the people, by the people, and for the people" you are about to hear a third vision delivered by someone just like you…I'm a S.O.B. (son of a butcher)…a taxpayer…a successful small businessman…and a homeschool dad.

Obama's Most Audacious SOTU Lie
It is difficult to say with certainly which of the many whoppers President Obama told tonight took the most crust to utter, but my money is going on this assertion, made a few minutes into the speech: “Already, the Affordable Care Act is helping to slow the growth of health care costs.” I know “Orwellian” has now become rather hackneyed, but there is simply no other adjective that better describes this statement. It is not merely a lie. It is the precise opposite of the truth. It is just as absurd as “war is peace” or “freedom is slavery.” Read more at American Spectator...

Beck: And the scariest Obama line of the night is...
GLENN BECK, 1/25/2012 - SOTU: Obama wants government power consolidated under Executive Branch - Last night [Tuesday], Obama said, “The executive branch also needs to change. Too often, it’s inefficient, outdated and remote. That’s why I’ve asked this Congress to grant me the authority to consolidate the federal bureaucracy so that our Government is leaner, quicker, and more responsive to the needs of the American people.” He sounded like someone trying to destroy the Constitution than someone who swore to uphold it. The President's comments about the Supreme Court decision
(Via email) 1/27/2010 by J. Sinclair - Last week the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional 2 U.S.C. Section 441a, which prohibited all corporate political spending. ∴ The Court did not touch 2 U.S.C. Section 441e - note the "e" - which prohibits foreign corporations from making contributions or donations of money or anything else of value to any federal, state, or local election or any political party, or any campaign ad. That part of the Code is still valid. ∴ But in the State of the Union address tonight, the president ridiculed the Supreme Court's decision, saying it "open[ed] the floodgates for special interests — including foreign corporations — to spend without limit in our elections. Well I don't think American elections should be bankrolled by America's most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities." ∴ That is NOT what the Supreme Court did, and the president surely knew better. When this *&!# happens, we must call it for what it is, or the people will continue to be deceived (as they were in yesterday's vote in Oregon). ∴ Here, then, is my response: if he didn't know, he's incompetent. If he did know, he's a liar.
