The Sickening Hypocrisy of Starbucks and Apple
(Hat tip: KimR) - She was only 17 years-old when she died. Her father cut out her tongue and burned her alive. What was her crime, and why did this man kill his own daughter in the most horrific imaginable way? He was a Saudi Arabian official who worked with the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice – the religious police – and when his daughter became a Christian, he butchered and murdered her. What does this have to do with Starbucks and Apple? Obama’s Gun-control Hypocrisy Called Out by Alabama Senator
(Hat tip: KimR) - On March 30, President Obama commuted the prison sentences of 62 criminals, 12 of whom were behind bars for gun-related drug crimes. This was just too much for Alabama’s senior Senator Richard Shelby (R), so the next day Shelby sent a stinging letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch. He asked her about the president’s hypocrisy and demanded answers to questions that he posed to her during a committee hearing back in January. Wrote Shelby: Read more at the New American

Krauthammer: GOP has right to fight over Supreme Court nominee
Let's understand something about the fight to fill the Supreme Court seat of Antonin "Nino" Scalia. This is about nothing but raw power. Any appeal you hear to high principle is phony — brazenly, embarrassingly so. --In Year Seven of the George W. Bush administration, Sen. Chuck Schumer publicly opposed filling any Supreme Court vacancy until Bush left office. ("Except in extraordinary circumstances." None such arose. Surprise!) Today, he piously denounces Republicans for doing exactly the same for a vacancy created in Year Eight of Barack Obama. Read more at Review Journal

California governor ordered state workers to research oil drilling on family land
Gov. Jerry Brown last year directed state oil and gas regulators to research, map and report back on any mining and oil drilling potential and history at the Brown family's private land in Northern California. --After a phone call from the governor and follow-up requests from his aides, senior staffers in the state's oil and gas regulatory agency over at least two days produced a 51-page historical report and geological assessment, plus a personalized satellite-imaged geological and oil and gas drilling map for the area around Brown's family ranchland near the town of Williams.

Body Parts Scandal “Infuriates” President Obama!
Finally, our distinguished president, our Nobel Peace Prize Laureate has spoken out about the infamous scandal of body parts being trafficked. “It is infuriating and I have no patience for it,” President Obama said in a strong show of righteous indignation. --But wait, that was in response to a question about the killing of Albino people in Africa. Of course, he is absolutely right in his visceral reaction against trafficking in body parts for pagan ritual purposes in parts of Africa. And the young African leaders—to their great credit—asked the President to lend his moral authority to their effort to stamp out this horrific practice. --How strange, then, how truly bizarre it is to see this White House’s reaction to the burgeoning Planned Parenthood scandal.

Networks Ignore Report Claiming Clintons Trying To Avoid Paying Estate Tax They Support
On Wednesday, June 17 Bloomberg reported that Bill and Hillary Clinton are taking advantage of financial planning strategies to avoid paying a hefty estate tax, even though the Clintons are prominent supports of the tax.
Despite the report, ABC, CBS, and NBC have all ignored the story on both their morning and evening newscasts. According to Bloomberg: “The Clintons are using financial planning strategies befitting the top 1 percent of U.S. households in wealth. These moves, common among multimillionaires, will help shield some of their estate from the tax that now top out at 40 percent of assets upon death.”

Petition: Should Congress Buy Into Gov't Healthcare?
IN THE SENATE: On Tuesday [date?], the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment courtesy of Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) that would require all Members and their staff to enroll in any new government-run health plan.
IN THE HOUSE: Congressman John Fleming (R-LA) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same healthcare plan they hope to force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt). He is encouraging people to go to his website and sign his petition (very simple - just enter your email, vote & submit). Please urge as many people as you can to do the same! ∴ If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congressmen and Congresswomen should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families. To do otherwise is the height of hypocrisy! ∴ Please pass this on!

Obama 2004: Bush Rushed Legislation Through Congress Without Allowing Time to Read Or Debate
NEWS BUSTERS, 7/27/2009 by P.J. Gladnick - (UPDATE: This story has been discussed by Rush Limbaugh.) ∴ Hypocrisy alert! ∴ A heretofore "unknown" 2004 interview with Barack Obama by leftwing radio host Randi Rhodes has just emerged. And basically, as you shall hear, Obama is saying do as I say, not as I do. In this case he was referring to quickly forcing legislation through congress. As you can hear in this interview, uncovered by Naked Emporer News, the hypocrisy seems so massive that it is destined to go viral on the Web. It features Randi Rhodes back during her Air America days interviewing then senator-elect Barack Obama on November 22, 2004. And despite the fact that Randi is currently pretty well hidden from public view, you can be sure she will soon be talked about again because of her inadvertent exposure of incredible hypocrisy on the part of Obama. And what was the hypocrisy? His complaint that the Bush administration was rushing legislation through congress without giving the legislators time to read the bills or allowing for much debate.
