Alberto Gonzales resigns

Sincere thanks to U.S. Attorney General Alberto Golzales for his service to his country. Mr. Gonzales announced his resignation yesterday, effective September 17, 2007.

The Daily Kos proudly brings up an old post to add another name to the list of key Bush Administration Republicans they can mark as GONE. Rankled by those who point out that the Democrats haven't accomplished anything since their 2006 takeover of Congress they're quick to counter, in a self-congratulatory manner, that these resignations ARE their accomplishments. Apparently they think this is leadership. Sad isn't it?
