President of Turkey Recep Erdogan confessed that the only reason for being in the Paris Climate Treaty was to receive more funds from the U.S. and other more wealthy nations. Of course with Trump pulling the United States out of the treaty, there’s no reason to expect the financial benefits. --Proving yet again, for the millionth time, that the whole build of the Paris Climate Treaty had absolutely nothing to do with the fake news climate change. It was completely about redistributing the funds of the nations involved.

60 Democrats (and counting) are not attending the Trump inauguration

(snip) Oregon

Reps. Earl Blumenauer and Kurt Schrader, told Oregon Public Radio that they will attend anti-Trump events instead of going to the inauguration. Blumenauer, who claims to have attended every inauguration since he took office two decades ago, said this one was “not a productive use of my time.”

Rep. Peter DeFazio said he usually avoids inaugurations and Friday will be no exception.

The Past Six Presidents Have All Used Executive Power To Block Certain Classes Of Immigrants

Donald Trump has received much flak from Democrats and Republicans alike for his proposal to ban Muslims from entering the U.S through executive authority. However, the past six presidents have all used the executive power to bar different classes of immigrants and that includes President Barack Obama, who has used the authority six times in his tenure granted in Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952.
