Meet the Flimflam Man Behind Obama's Foreign Policy 'Narrative'
(Hat tip: KimR) - When it comes to foreign policy, President Obama has spent more than seven years now living the dream. And I mean dream, as in fantasy -- a trip to an alternate universe. Never mind the dangerous and in some cases deadly realities that increasingly beset the rest of the planet. For the White House, it's been one glorious fiction after another. Read more at PJ Media

The Term 'Neocon' has Run its Course
In interviews and on the stump, Sen. Ted Cruz likes to attack President Obama, Hillary Clinton and "some of the more aggressive Washington neocons" for their support of regime change in the Middle East. Every time we topple a dictator, Cruz argues, we end up helping terrorists or extremists. He has a point. But what interests me is his use of the word "neocon." What does he really mean?

Ian Bremmer says America is no longer 'indispensable', and that's bad news for Britain
After six decades serving as the global policeman, the United States is now signalling its retreat from the world. --With the Middle East engulfed by the flames of sectarian conflict, Europe’s borders menaced by the threat of war and China starting to flex its muscles in Asia-Pacific, it is clear the world has entered a new period of volatility. --That uncertainty begs tough questions for Britain: how should we respond to this new American pragmatism? And as our traditional ally turns inward, what should that mean for British foreign policy?

George W. Bush rips Obama on foreign policy
In rare public comments about his successor, George W. Bush slammed President Obama’s foreign policy in a speech over the weekend. ✧ The former president, addressing a meeting of Jewish Republican donors at The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas Saturday night, railed against Obama’s decision to ease sanctions on Iran, scoffed at his handling of ISIS and mocked his perceived indecisiveness, Bloomberg News reported. ✧ “You think the Middle East is chaotic now?” Bush said while discussing a possible nuclear deal with Iran. “Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. Senate Votes to Stop US From Joining UN Arms Trade Treaty
Patriot Update - In the last batch of amendment votes to the budget, the Senate voted on several foreign policy proposals. ✧ Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) introduced an amendment that would prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty in order to uphold the Second Amendment. His amendment passed on a 53-46 vote. ✧ Republicans have been critical of President Obama’s decision to consider the treaty, although Obama has said he would not vote for anything that would violate the Second Amendment. ✧ The U.N. Arms Trade Treaty would regulate international arms sales. Negotiations end on March 28.
