Paris attacks: terrifyingly fatal layers of resources and tactics

(Hat tip: KimR) - Investigators found crates’ worth of disposable cellphones, used and discarded after being meticulously scoured of email data. All around Paris, they found traces of consistent and improved bomb-making materials. And they began sketching in the details of a multilayered terrorist attack that evaded detection or prevention until much too late. Read more at the Irish Times Read More......

FBI Ticked About Obama's Ignorant Statement Claiming Hillary's Server Didn't Compromise

During an interview with 60 Minutes last weekend, President Obama made the bold and ignorant claim that Hillary Clinton's use of a private server during her time at the State Department didn't compromise U.S. national security. --"It is important for her to answer these questions to the satisfaction of the American public," Obama claimed. "I can tell you that this is not a situation in which America’s national security was endangered.” --Not only was Obama's statement out of line during an ongoing criminal FBI investigation of the former Secretary of State and Democrat presidential candidate, it holds no merit with the facts we already know.

Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), a second-term Republican and former federal prosecutor, to head a new House select committee investigating the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012. ✧ Gowdy was the preferred choice of Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) to take on what will be a high-profile assignment for the GOP over the next several months. The deep-voiced South Carolinian is known for his prosecutorial style in questioning witnesses at hearings as well as his impassioned floor speeches.

'Boomtown' Special Assails D.C. for 'Extracting' Wealth from Taxpayers

BREITBART: BIG GOVERNMENT - In a blockbuster one-hour investigative special that aired on Fox News' "Hannity" on Friday, Peter Schweizer, Steve Bannon, and Sean Hannity exposed how Washington, D.C. has extracted power and money from the United States into a centralized location to become the country's greatest "boomtown," despite not creating anything. ✧ Schweizer, the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute, highlighted how the permanent political class that relies on lobbying and influence peddling makes more money by "growing the size of government," which leaves no incentive on either side of the aisle to limit government. ✧ As a result, he noted the three richest counties and seven of the top ten wealthiest counties in the nation are in the Washington, D.C. region. The District also consumes the most fine wine in the nation. He asserted the business in Washington is now "not politics" but "money."

White House REJECTS Solyndra Subpoena

PATRIOT UPDATE, 11/4/2011 - President Obama’s attorney sent a letter to Congressional investigators on Friday, saying the White House would not cooperate with a subpoena requesting documents related to its doling out a $535 million loan guarantee to now bankrupt solar panel manufacturer Solyndra. ✧ “I can only conclude that your decision to issue a subpoena, authorized by a party-line vote, was driven more by partisan politics than a legitimate effort to conduct a responsible investigation,” Obama’s counsel, Kathryn Ruemmler, wrote in a letter to the top Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce committee. (Read Ruemmler’s full letter here). ✧ Committee chairman Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich, blasted the White House response:
“We have been reasonable every step of the way in this investigation, and it is a shame that the Obama Administration and House Democrats continue to put up partisan roadblocks to hide the truth from taxpayers.

Sarah Palin: Mr. President: Boycott Copenhagen; Investigate Your Climate Change "Experts"

FACEBOOK, 12/3/2009 by Sarah Palin - The president’s decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to “hide the decline” in global temperatures, and conspired to silence the critics of man-made global warming. I support Senator James Inhofe’s call for a full investigation into this scandal. Because it involves many of the same personalities and entities behind the Copenhagen conference, Climategate calls into question many of the proposals being pushed there, including anything that would lead to a cap and tax plan. U.N.-Usual Suspects

The United Nations has sent a special investigator to look into whether affordable housing is so hard to find that it constitutes a human rights violation. Her destination? New York, Washington D.C., Chicago and three other U.S. cities.

U.N. special investigator Raquel Rolnik's mission is to tour the American cities and report back to the U.N. General Assembly. The New York Post editorial board writes: "Since 2000, the U.N. has had a housing investigator looking into shortages in such obvious places as Cambodia, Kenya, and Iran... but this is its first foray into U.S. territory — and it remains to be seen whether she'll call for Donald Trump and other landlords to be hauled before the International Criminal Court." --Fox News Channel's Lanna Britt contributed to this report. Cantor: No investigation on Pelosi's CIA claim

Statement on Democrats Refusal to Investigate CIA Allegations by Speaker, 6/16/2009 - WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Republican Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) issued the following statement after Democrats blocked a resolution offered by Congressman Rob Bishop (R-UT) to create a four member bi-partisan panel to examine allegations made by the Speaker of the House accusing intelligence professionals of deliberately lying to Congress. ∴ Allegations that intelligence professionals consistently lied to members of Congress is extremely serious, especially when they are made by the Speaker of the House. ∴ “Perhaps it is telling that Democrats do not wish to determine whether Speaker Pelosi’s troubling allegation that the CIA lied to Congress is accurate. Speaker Pelosi has failed to make any effort to offer evidence that substantiates her accusations, and a complete and thorough investigation would not only offer that opportunity, but finally provide the American people with the truth.” Read More......
